Cameron Cameron joined K & D in 1991 to work on a casual basis in the inwards goods area of what was K & D's only store at that time, and to this day he is still a part of the K & D team. His career has seen him work in all three stores at various times. Initially performing a number of administrative roles that focused on supporting the stores operations, he made the decision in 2006 to move into day to day retail environment firstly taking up the role of Assistant Manager at the Glenorchy Store, and then more recently the Store Manager at the Cambridge Store where he is now responsible for the overall profitable operations of the store, and leadership of a team of 40 plus people. During the course of his employment with K & D he has taken advantage of the opportunity to develop himself through participation in formal training programs that have lead to nationally recognised qualifications. Cameron has completed retail certificates at level 3, 4 and Diploma level. |

Maureen Maureen joined the K & D team in 1990 as a casual cashier and she quickly made an impact on K & D with her desire to deliver exceptional customer service. Her ongoing committment and desire to consistently deliver a high level of service saw her promoted to the position of Customer Service Supervisor for the Hobart Store. In 2007 she joined the team responsible for the setup and opening of the Cambridge Store. She played a key role in ensuring that all the new staff who joined the team were trained and competent in the K & D service standards, policies, procedures and systems prior to the store opening its doors for the first day of trade.
Maureen has now settled into a new role at the Cambridge Store as the Supervisor Front End, Electrical & Housewares Departments. |

Andrew Andrew is the Trade Manager for the three Warehouse Stores and plays a key role in ensuring K & D delivers a strong trade offer to the market. Following the completion of an Arts Degree and a brief employment history, he joined K & D on a casual basis in the timber yard and continued there untill he took up a Sales Representative role that allowed him to develop an indepth understanding of the requirements to be successful in establishing long term relationships with our trade customers. In 2004 he was promoted to the position of Trade Manager and he now provides leadership and strategic direction to a team of sales representatives and other support roles to ensure K & D remains a key supplier to the trade. |
